Beaming White’s proprietary remineralizing gel replenishes minerals lost during a teeth whitening treatment and helps alleviate tooth sensitivity. The main ingredients are potassium nitrate, calcium phosphate, and sodium fluoride. We recommend using this gel at the end of every teeth whitening treatment to seal whitening results and strengthen tooth enamel.
People with sensitive teeth also benefit from using this gel. The potassium nitrate helps alleviate tooth sensitivity.
One of the reasons it is so important to use remineralizing gel after a teeth whitening treatment is because the bleaching mechanism of peroxide “opens” the pores or micro-tubules in tooth enamel. This process is essential to allow the bleaching agent to reach stains embedded deep in the dentin layer of the tooth. But, after the bleaching process is complete, it is important to close the pores back up and harden the enamel. Healthy saliva hardens tooth enamel eventually. However, remineralizing gel that contains calcium and fluoride gives this process a helpful boost. Hardened enamel (micro-tubules closed) is resistant to stains from eating and drinking and abrasion from brushing. Once the micro-tubules are closed back up, the whitening results are essentially sealed-in. Because of this process, we recommend following The White Diet for 24 hours after whitening.
- Revitalizes tooth enamel with calcium phosphate and sodium fluoride.
- Alleviates tooth sensitivity potassium nitrate.
- Seals in whitening results.
- Easy to apply.
- Application Method: Apply to mouth trays and wear for 5 minutes for best results.
